It wouldn't take much, just a peacefull divorce

The idea of Texas firing its agent, the federal government, for dereliction of duties (amongst many other things) and taking back her sovereignty seems to be a mind boggling pipe dream. I argue that it shouldn't be. I should be as simple as saying, "We want a divorce, we are leaving. Your move." If that were to happen, Texas would be the most prosperous country in the world within 5 years. If we don't we'll be dragged down into the abyss with the other 49.
