The best spots won’t last.2. High season is shifting earlierPeak travel is no longer just July–August. The busiest periods are now April–June and September–November, thanks to better weather and fewer crowds.👉 “Shoulder season” is no longer a secret—plan ahead.3. Airfares rising due to fuel surchargesAirlines are adding fuel surcharges as oil prices climb, with some tickets increasing $50–$200+ per flight.👉 Expect international airfare to trend higher.4. Europe airfare jump is already happeningExample: Omaha → Rome flights jumped from $800 to $1,000+ in just one week moving from mid-May to late May.👉 Booking before mid-May can save hundreds.5. Italy AC rules (yes, really)Many hotels can’t legally turn on AC until May 15. If there’s an early heat wave… it gets warm.👉 Pack accordingly if traveling in April/early May.6.
