It's All About Oulu: Past, Present & Future

In this episode, Hailey heads to the one and only historic Wisconsin township of Oulu, home of the largest population of Finnish people in the Midwest. She explores the quaint community that continues to work hard to preserve its prided history, celebrate traditions still today, and welcomes visitors to take in the authentic Finnish culture. First, she dives into the history of Oulu, which dates back to 1997. Later, Hailey fast forwards to present day, where the Oulu Heritage Center has kept their Finnish heritage alive, from housing artifacts to teaching traditions.
