Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Yesterday was a day like no other. Never in our history has a sitting President of the United States used his power and position to thwart, silence, and destroy his closest political opponent. It’s the thing of third world nations. There was a time when freedom-loving countries around the world would look to us for guidance and help when something like this was happening to them. After yesterday…no one will look to us for help. How will we be able to tell them what’s good and democratic when one of our administrations did what you’d expect from a government led by an egomaniacal dictator? There’s no walking this one back. We, as a country, may learn and heal from this…but, going forward, we will always have a scar. We talk about all this and much more on today’s program.
