Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. This is a very special show. We have a guest. Joe (we don’t use his last name for the sake of security) spent the last two weeks in paradise…Maui Hawaii. Initially, it was a once-in-a-lifetime vacation…great food…a world-class hotel, and breathtaking picturesque vistas. The town that he overlooked, Lahaina, had a native history that went back hundreds of years and a Western history that began in 1778 when Captain James Cook stepped ashore. One night Joe fell asleep in paradise and he awaken to an inferno…a scene of fire, devastation and death. And the human loss was everywhere. Where was the government relief? Why was the water shut off when they were trying to knock down the fires? Where were the sirens?  Why wasn’t there a massive police presence? We talk about it all on today’s program.
