Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. It was a beautiful, sunny Thursday morning in Jerusalem. There was the normal traffic congestion and commuters waited patiently at the local bus stop for their transportation to take them to work. Everything was ‘routine’ until the unexpected sounds of automatic weapons gunfire. Suddenly, people at the bus stop dropped to the ground or ran away. It was a scene of panic and pandemonium. The shooters, to their surprise, were confronted by armed civilians who returned fire and ultimately killed them…but not before innocent unarmed people were either killed or wounded. This Hamas attack happened during an extended ceasefire. Critics of the ceasefire believe that it’s giving Hamas a chance to resupply and regroup. And then…there’s the terrorist attacks.
