Texas wanted to keep the barbed wire it had placed along its border in order to discourage illegal entry and the federal government wanted it removed. You would think that the state itself would have the final say. The Supreme Court said that it didn’t and ruled in favor of the federal government. Now there are a lot of angry Texans who have said that they are going to defy the federal ruling. Where is this ruling and decisions like this, taking us? Are we headed towards armed conflicts?
