It's Babar Azam Day
from Wisden Cricket Weekly Hosted by Wisden Cricket Weekly
It’s getting to the business end of the tournament, and on the back of a Babar Azam masterpiece that puts Pakistan right back in the heart of it, Phil Walker gets suitably carried away with the right-hander's celestial genius. Thankfully Andrew Alderson of the NZ Herald is on hand to provide some rather more sober analysis about New Zealand’s chances, and we also hear from John Stern, Wisden Cricket Monthly’s editor-at-large, who tries vainly to keep the pessimism at bay while picking through the debris of England’s latest defeat against Australia.
