It's Back to School - Are Your Children Prepared?

from SIS Empowerment Podcast · host SiS NSpirit

It's back to school time,  a time when parents put forth great effort to ensure their children are materially prepared for the new school year. The purchase of clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies and technology tops the preparation list, but is that enough? Are your children really prepared? Our special guest, Shirley H. Cox, M.Ed., owner of Faces of Hope Child Development Center, Inc. of Washington, DC, will share how parents can help their children prepare for school, and the various settings that accompany getting back to school like, before or after care, tutoring sessions, and other child development settings. Ms. Cox is a dedicated educator who has spent her life guiding and nurturing young minds. She has over 30 years of teaching experience at all grade levels, including adults, and has obtained a Child Day Care Management Certificate with the highest honors. Shirley's unique vantage point, experience and valuable pointers will help parents ensure their children will have the most successful school year possible.
