It's District Judgment Day with District Judge Amy Clark Meachum

Here comes the judge, and here come the hugs!So listen, learn, and laugh!  Judge Amy Clark Meachum was elected in November 2010 and began presiding over the 201stDistrict Court in January 2011. She was formerly a litigation partner with the Austin-based law firm of McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore LLP. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with degrees in political science and journalism and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with honors.  She is passionate about children's literacy and currently serves on the board of the local nonprofit, Bookspring. She and her husband Kurt have three children and live in Northwest Austin. Paul Normandin is a large man with a big mouth who loves to tell stories to anyone who can't outrun him. Paul learned to tell stories from the loving feedback of other people's children.Paul is an accomplished StorySlam champion. Winner of the 2017 Tejas Festival StorySlam. He is a producer and occasional performer at the Austin storytelling show, Testify. Paul has performed on the RISK! Live show twice in Austin and around the country at Cafe Improv in Princeton, New Jersey, and any Moth StorySlam he can get in. Paul is also the 2016 Houston Moth GrandSlam Champion.Paul is a father, husband, and a survivor of 13 years of teaching Sunday School at University United Methodist Church in Austin.
