A few years ago Carol's husband fell ill, searching answers he went to his doctor who treated him and sent him home; that's where the story begins after getting worse Carol and her husband find out he was misdiagnosed. This led her husband to eventually lose his life. Carol decided to tell the story to the world to invoke change and wake us up when it comes to situations like this. She co-authored the book "Ripped Apart: Living Misdiagnosed" with David Black. The book is available in top book stores everywhere.
