It's Emmas World - Episode 3 - Emma Dowd

In episode 3 I completely open up about my birth defect, being an intersexed individual. This means I was born with both reproductive organs but one was defective. When I was born it was chosen for me, I was to be male but my body had something to say about it. My mind was never geared towards male tendencies, I hated mens clothes, I didn't like what men liked but I had to learn. Later in life my body would develop female characteristics and I found a way to stop it because I thought that's what people wanted and I wanted to make people happy. You will learn how early in life I knew, you will learn why I am NOT transsexual, you will learn how I found out I was intersexed, you will hear how my secret came out and how I dealt with it. This story will continue through other episodes as I had a fall out plan - a 4 phase plan to be exact - that deserves more attention than what I could talk about here in this episode. You will also find out what I've done to change - if anything at all.
