It's Going To Be A Tough Year For Toronto Real Estate

from East Meets West · host East Meets West

Are you looking to start a career and/or investing in real estate?   If so, you'll really want to tune into this one. In East Meets West, we (Steve Zalunardo and Hussein Kabani) let you in on our conversation - most would probably call it a debate with the way we talk to one another. We share our very different stories of how we got started in real estate and go on explaining where we are heading.   In episode 20 of East Meets West:   If you like cars, you're going to love the start of this episode. Formula 1 is back and Steve is amped up about it as he's decked out in Mercedes AMG gear! Not only that, but we start off by talking cars - more exclusively our Mercedes. Okay, now back to real estate! Our week's have been interesting to say the least... From firming up deals, to getting new listings, to crazy condo stories, and stressful situations dealing with agents. We pull out a ton of stories for you this episode. We chat about situations with desperate clients who would give anything just to close the deal and we explain why we did the exact opposite. We also touch on the topic of; Should you find your real estate sweet spot or should you have an inventory list filled with multiple SKUs (luxury, family, starter, investment, etc.). More and more we're noticing that 2019 is going to be quite a tough year. Not only from our personal experiences in the market, but simply from watching consumers and others. At times like these you need to be extremely aware of your surroundings to know how to move. Pay attention to debt levels, bankruptcy, and the amount of people preaching something is coming. Due to this we have began to be cautious and have started trimming the fat in our business to prepare for the worst and have even started unloading some of our investments. We also touch on our opinions of lending money, what we think about rent to own, and why Brampton is the Wild West of real estate. Please don't forget to rate and subscribe to our podcast! We would love to hear your feedback and answer any of your questions in our next episode.   Shoot us an email at: [email protected] Subscribe to us on YouTube: www.youtube.com/channel/UCDwrM3HwYDRr1_WUts-YpZw  Follow Steve Zalunardo on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/zalunardos Follow Steve Zalunardo on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/zalunardos/ Follow Steve Zalunardo on YouTube at: www.youtube.com/user/Szalunardo81  Follow Hussein Kabani on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/getkabani Follow Hussein Kabani on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/getkabani Follow Hussein Kabani on YouTube at: www.youtube.com/channel/UCkY2_P3zlD89FcwjcqaGRag
