It’s important to read this and understand what contacting your reps does. He listened to his constituents who didn’t want him to vote to expel. Contacting your reps MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Not everytime, but enough that you need to do it every single time. They are our representatives many of them will actually vote based on what we want them to represent. Please please let him know how thankful you are that he voted the way he did. That will very clearly make a difference with him. This isn’t to say we shouldn’t try beating him in the general election, but there are so few Republicans with morals anymore that losing each one of them pushes the party even further right. I’m sure there are republicans in his district, many of them, who support what he did. Because, although ethical republicans barely exist in office, they do exist in voters.
