His team was a finalist to the Space for Planet Earth Challenge 2023-24, High School level.  He won the Emerging Technology Award as part of the Otautahi Christchurch Smart Cities Challenge 2024.  He was also an elected participant in the validator programme at the University of Christchurch Center for Entrepreneurship.
