It’s Never Too Late To Start Again

from 60 Seconds of Hope with Horace McMillon · host Horace McMillon

Send us Fan MailIt’s Never Too Late To Start Again “… Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” - from Acts 10:43So many of us have been stuck in broken situations for so long that we have accepted them as our reality. We keep engaging in the same dysfunctional patterns of thinking and behavior and hoping that somehow we will get a different outcome. Or worse, we already accepted the bad outcomes we know are coming. The forgiveness that is described in Luke/Acts has nothing to do with placating the wrath of an angry God. It has nothing to do with upholding God’s honor. Forgiveness is about restoring lives, and relationships. Forgiveness delivers the forgiven from the pits of hopelessness and despair. It’s never too late for the prodigal child to come back home. It’s never too late to begin again. It’s never too late to become the person you were meant to be. No matter how broken we are, no matter how long we have been broken, everyone who believes will eventually become through the power of God’s love.  I’m Horace McMillon. This is 60 Seconds of Hope. Peace be with you. (Thanks for your prayers. I’ve been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a condition that usually corrects in time. Thanks for your concern and well wishes.
