IT'S NOT YOUR JOB TO MAKE OTHERS HAPPY

Hey lovely, it's not your job to keep others happy. Not even your partner, kids, family or inlaws. This leads to codependency. This leads to people-pleasing and being burnt out. This leads to your worth being outside of you and in another's hands. This causes disempowerment for you and for whoever you're trying to make happy. This is often a trauma response. Your loved ones will not perish if you love and take care of yourself. In fact, they will see and learn they can create their own happiness and joy. Be willing to disappoint some people especially family.  This doesn't mean you will, this means you have to be willing too so that you feel and live free without being indebted to another deciding your worth based on how happy they are with you.  Often we need to make others happy to feel of any worth and so when we can't we don't feel enough.  It's time to break the cycle.
