IT'S OFFICIAL! The Interborough Express (IBX) Will Be A Light Rail Line!

After review and feedback from residents and community members of both Brooklyn and Queens, the Interborough Express is a go! The Interborough Express will be a light rail line. It is slated to operate between Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av, Queens and the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, connecting to multiple bus routes (post bus network redesign aftermath ofc), the 2,3,4,5,7,A,C,E,B,Q,F,R,N,W,D,M,J/Z,L, and the Long Island Rail Road. It would create a new transit option for close to 900,000 residents of the neighborhoods along the route, along with 260,000 people who work in Brooklyn and Queens.
