It's Ok To Not Be Ok

from Relationship RealTalk · host Live the Life

May is Mental Health Awareness month and in honor of this we want to talk to all of our listeners about how to check in on friends who may struggle with mental health disorders, as well as checking in on ourselves. Mental Health is something that everyone needs to take care of, but not everyone knows how to. In this episode we talk about some different questions you can ask to check in on people you love to let them know you love them and are there for them. We get perspectives from both people who suffer from diagnosed mental health disorders as well as people who deal with the normal mental health struggles that come from being human. We challenge you to check in on a friend this week and get the conversation going! Here is the article we reference in the podcast with the questions that may be good to go over: https://idontmind.com/journal/just-checking-in-ten-minutes-ten-questions
