It's Raining...Meat? Goo? Sodium Polyacrylate?

from Spooky B*tch Walk · host SpookyB*tchWalk

In 1876 in Kentucky and 1994 in Washington, citizens experienced the skies raining down mysterious substances. In Kentucky, the blobs appeared to be meat, while in Washington, the blobs were translucent, gelatinous goo. In both instances, samples were collected, tests were performed, and scientists made conclusions.  In the case of the blobs in Washington, scientists never could agree on what the substance is. Luckily, one resident collected a sample and has held on to it in case anyone ever wants to get to the bottom of it.  In the case of the Kentucky meat shower, the samples were determined to be meat, but the source of the meat is something you would never guess.  Come along with Hannah and Bob as they discuss crows bringing you gifts, airplane waste, and chemistry.
