'It’s Show Time' (Coronavirus and Our Mental Health)

Enter Movies, Exit Covid.  The host for this show is Ken Burtness.  The guest is Greg MacDonald.   People are Covid weary, tired of being lock-downed, confined, cut off from being with people, from enjoying fun activities, from going to their favorite places. Now with loosening restrictions and coronavirus numbers falling, doors are opening, and one of the most welcome doors reopening is the local movie house. Plus, the reopening is slow and relatively safe. Outside a few hyped blockbusters, most of the movies in the multiplex are sparsely attended. People can maintain a comfortable distance from other patrons and there is no crowd at the refreshment stand. Best of all, movies can bring people joy, laughs and a happy ending, things too often missing from nightly news casts.
