It’s Time for Trump to Lead | 8/12/24

Today, I issue a clarion warning that unless Trump ups his game and we craft a better message, Harris will win, possibly overwhelmingly. I provide an analysis of how Trump woefully underperformed in suburbs even of small to mid-sized cities in red states in 2020. I go state by state to show how it wasn’t just a question of cheating in blue states that made the difference. Trump underwhelmed his 2016 support across the board, which shows that he has lost critical voters he needs to win a national election. Unless there is a plan to get those voters back, we are basically going into November throwing away this election, along with a number of down-ballot races.
