While most pundits (including us) got almost everything wrong as usual, we discuss reasons why we are encouraged by this election. Our encouragement has nothing to do with our faith in the ability of Democrats or Republicans to effectively govern going forward. It has to do with what the voters showed us, and how it is a small step toward ending the "uni-party" control over American government and crony capitalism. Take a little dive into voter ID. From an election winning perspective, it is easy to see the logic from both Republicans and Democrats. But is it really as big a deal as it is made out to be?
