It’s time to learn about Eliza Winston and slavery’s impact in Minnesota

Minnesota usually isn’t associated with slavery but there is plenty of history/impact this far north of the Mason-Dixon line. Alyssa Thiede from the Hennepin History Museum joins to talk about a new exhibit being featured that’s centered on Eliza Winston and her impact on Minnesota. The exhibit is called Winston: A Woman’s Fight for Freedom in Minnesota.
