It’s time to make something clear about Nebraska QB Anthony Colandrea

We’re here on this Wednesday of Week 3 to address that elephant lurking in the room. If you’re like the majority of Nebraska fans who’ve watched the Huskers against Ohio and Bowling Green, surely you’ve made the silent comparison between quarterback Anthony Colandrea and the Huskers’ starter of the past two years, Dylan Raiola. Parts of this conversation are inherently unfair to Raiola, now at Oregon, but the reality is this: Colandrea is better. We hear from Dana Holgorsen and Jamal Rule on what Colandrea is bringing daily to the Nebraska offense. And we review Tuesday interview sessions with Holgorsen and defensive coordinator Rob Aurich, who’s got a unique tie to North Dakota — the scheduled visitor on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
