Outside the magazine world, she's mentored through Chicas Poderosas' New Ventures Lab on Malquerida, an all-women Spanish-language project; she's the eye behind @alittlelifebook and runs the social presence for Hanya Yanagihara's A Little Life; she's shot original photography for novelists Ben Dolnick and Pulitzer winner Andrew Sean Greer, dug into photo archives with authors Maaza Mengiste and Will Schwalbe, and dreamed up the campaign for the indie film Mayday. Since 2016 she's also written Leave It to Leonor, a weekly newsletter of cultural recommendations and personal essays that from 2017 to 2021 included an interview series with women like Roxane Gay, Tracy Clayton, Ashley C. Ford, Doree Shafrir, and Brittany Luse.
