I've got beef with compostable plastics: Here's why...

In this soundbite I'm talking about something I'm pretty damn passionate about: the problem with compostable plastics. I've been researching this topic for a while and there is nothing I love to wax lyrical about more, except maybe the merits of cold water therapy and sunlight =) Confused whether your compostable coffee cup can go in your green waste? Feeling good about yourself when you sip from a 'green cup,' not sure whether all bio plastics are recyclable, compostable or degradable?  What even is the difference between degradable and biodegradable, and what are the conditions that warrant something actually being able to label itself as biodegradable?  Let's discuss.  @gracekingswell
