" Joan Apter is a licensed Massage Therapist with over 22 years of training in the use and application of therapeutic Essential Oils. She has studied all over the world with luminaries in the field of aromatherapy including Dr. Daniel Penoel, Jean Claude LaPraz, Michael Scholes, Valerie Ann Worwood, Kurt Schnaubelt and Dr. Gary Young.  Joan has advanced training in the medicinal applications of essential oils from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey. She holds an international certificate of study from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy, and is a registered professional member of the International Aromatherapy Association. Joan travels widely to present keynotes, classes and workshops about optimum wellness, aromatherapy and essential oils for corporate education, hospital support groups, community networks, schools, spas and wellnesscentres.
