IWD2020 #EachForEqual

The Global Gender Gap Report published by the World Economic Forum states that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but is linked to a country’s overall economic performance. Over the last decade Australia has made significant progress towards gender equality, particularly in education, health and female workforce participation. At universities, in organisations and in government, more women are taking on leadership roles and forging positive pathways for future generations. Despite this progress, inequality and discrimination prevail in many areas of society. Women continue to earn less than men, are less likely to advance their careers as far as men, and accumulate less retirement or superannuation savings.
