IWFSA welcomes the approval by Cabinet of three vitally important Gender Based Violence Bills

The International Women's Forum of South Africa, IWFSA, has welcomed the statement issued by Cabinet of the Republic of South Africa advising the approval by Cabinet of three vitally important Gender Based Violence - GBV - Bills. The IWFSA recognises the approval by cabinet of the theme of Women's Month as 'Realising women's rights for an equal future' and further applauds cabinet for the approval of three Bills namely the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Bill of 2020; National Register for Sexual Offences) and the Domestic Violence Amendment Bill for submission to Parliament.
