J-Bunny’s Music Hub Episode 78: Andy Kalipetis (ex-Quarter Inch Fuse) 10-16-2023

J-Bunny sits down with his friend of over 20 years, Andy Kalipetis.  Andy and J-Bunny start the show talking about encounters with celebrities in public, including Dann Florek, Bret Scallions, Rosario Dawson, and Martha Stewart.  They discuss how they met, going to concerts together in the early 2000s (specifically Ozzfest, Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, and Bleeding Through), as well as Andy's journey in music.  Andy discusses how he became interested in playing drums, and touches on the bands he was in from high school to present, with an emphasis on Quarter Inch Fuse, his band from the early 2000s.  We discuss how Quarter Inch Fuse came together and why they ultimately broke up.  Andy also talks about his drum kit including how he originally got it, why he initially got rid of it, how he got it back, and the process of redoing the whole kit as a COVID project during the pandemic.  Andy also talks about drummers that influenced him and gives his thoughts on the current Pantera reunion/tribute.  Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of ⁠audionautix.com⁠.
