But then, after two Elseworlds projects (Justice Riders and Son of Superman), J.H. blew our minds with a 32 issue run on Promethea with Alan Moore. Changing sizes, media, colors, formats, it was a defining statement of what a comic book could look like. More groundbreaking projects followed, including a run on Detective Comics focused on Batwoman that won a GLAAD Media Award, and Sandman: Overture, another magnum opus. He's now working on Echolands, an original story told in a widescreen format.
