Jac Caglianone Steps Up for Derby | Kansas City Royals News

Jac Caglianone, the Royals’ rising slugger with 15 homers this season, is making his Home Run Derby debut in Philly—marking the first time a Royal’s stepped up since Bobby Witt Jr. in 2024. This year’s derby flips the script: no clock, just swings—with every contact counting. The top four after Round 1 battle head-to-head, and it’s a family affair as Caglianone’s dad, Jeff, pitches to him live. The showdown kicks off July 13th at 7 p.m. Central, exclusively on Netflix. With no Royals champ yet, Caglianone’s got a shot to rewrite history—and a whole lot of family pride on the line.
