Check out our upcoming tabletop game, Singularity Hex: singularityhex.co.ukJack and Jill (2011) is a slapstick comedy directed by Dennis Dugan, starring Adam Sandler in dual roles as Jack Sadelstein, a successful ad executive, and his loud, overbearing twin sister Jill. When Jill visits for Thanksgiving and overstays her welcome, Jack's life is thrown into chaos—especially when she unexpectedly catches the attention of Al Pacino, playing a fictionalized version of himself. The film was widely panned by critics for its humor and excessive product placement, and it swept the Golden Raspberry Awards, winning in every category. Despite this, it has gained a kind of infamy and remains one of Sandler’s most talked-about comedies—for better or worse. Catwoman (2004) is a standalone superhero film directed by Pitof, loosely inspired by the DC Comics character. Halle Berry stars as Patience Phillips, a timid graphic designer who is murdered after uncovering a corporate conspiracy, only to be resurrected with cat-like powers and a new persona—Catwoman. She sets out to take revenge on those who wronged her and to uncover the dark secrets behind a deadly cosmetics product. The film was criticized for its weak script, over-the-top CGI, and a storyline that strayed far from the original Selina Kyle character. Despite Berry’s star power and a bold visual style, Catwoman was a commercial and critical failure, later earning Berry a Razzie Award, which she famously accepted in person with good humor. #JackAndJill #AdamSandler #ComedyMovie #AlPacino #TwinTrouble #SlapstickComedy #ThanksgivingMovie #MovieFail #CultComedy #SandlerHumor #RazzieWinner #AwkwardLaughs #GuiltyPleasure #ComedyChaos #OverTheTopHumor #Catwoman2004 #HalleBerry #DCMovie #CatLikeReflexes #SuperheroFlop #ComicBookMovie #DarkFemme #MovieRazzie #StylizedAction #FelineFury #CatwomanCostume #AntiHeroine #CorporateConspiracy #SoBadItsGood #FemaleSuperhero This is a public episode.
