ABOUT THE UN #STAND2PROTECT PEACE SUMMITConcept Paper: #Stand2Protect Peace Summit Tuesday, August 2nd, 3pm-6pm at United Nations Headquarters, ECOSOC ChamberHosted by the United Federation for Peacekeeping & Sustainable Development (USFMEP), COPsync, Trust2Protect, Blue Alert FoundationIn light of the recent violence across America, the goal of the United Nations #Stand2Protect Peace Summit is to bring together community and global leaders, law enforcement, politicians and influencers to discuss real solutions to end the growing divide between law enforcement and the communities they are sworn to protect and serve.Trust 2 Protect Call 2 Action: National Police Protocol1. We will advocate the federal government to consider all crimes committed by officers AND crimes against officers as "Federal Offenses" in order to eliminate the perception and reality of bias.2. We will advocate for Capitol Hill to modernize federal excessive force laws - encouraging the utilization of Tasers over the use of deadly force.3. We will gather resources and partner with organizations to equip law enforcement officers with affordable 21st century information sharing technologies versus an increase in weapons.The Trust 2 Protect (T2P) campaign, founded and spearheaded by United Nations Ambassador for Peace & Sport and former National Football League (NFL) player, Jack Brewer, unites influencers to help bridge the trust gap between law enforcement and the community. We need T2P’s immediate solutions to resolve the current crisis and bring LOVE back to our communities. Bring together community leaders, law enforcement, politicians and influencers to discuss real solutions to end the ongoing violence and racism affecting the United States.ABOUT JACK BREWERAmbassador Jack Brewer was born on January 8, 1979, in Ft. Worth, TX and raised in Grapevine, TX by Rosa and Eddie Brewer. He attended Grapevine High School where he was a top student, All-State athlete and record setter in football and track. Following high school, Amb. Brewer went on to attend Southern Methodist University (SMU) where he was a freshman All-American Candidate in football and a Disney World Classic Record Holder in track. Amb. Brewer transferred to the University of Minnesota and continued to excel both academically and athletically, earning several honors including Academic All-Big Ten, Carl Eller Defensive MVP Award, Paul Giel Award, First Team All-Big Ten by Media, All-Big Ten in Track and Field and was team captain on the football team. He has three children, Jared, Laesha and Jackson.
