Jack-O-Lanterns – part 1 (with Monster Fuzz)

Happy Halloween! Rob and Eamonn of Monster Fuzz podcast stop by and discuss Jack-O-Lantern history and folklore. We hear the tale of Stingy Jack, one of two jack-o-lantern origin stories, and then we discuss Cabbage Stump Night (a tradition local to wexford, Ireland) and, amazingly, find its Pennsylvania Dutch equivalent. Finally, Brother Richard shares his poem All Hallows Eve. (part two of our jack-o-lantern talk will be on Monster Fuzz podcast).
