Jacki-E - It's That Bass (BCC 27062026)

This is my track for the Beat Collective Challenge for April 2026 in which participants are given two samples and asked to incorporate them into an original track. This month the samples are from Mode Audio who provide sample packs, synth presets and other production tools. Their free pack is alled Outsider which contains 5 loops. F#m Bass, F#m Keys / Chords, F#m Synth Arps, F#m Tape Hiss, Full Drums I used the samples as follows:- The drums I warped to 174 bpm and added them to the percussion on the track. The synth arp I chopped and used between 1:10 & 1:45 + 2:55 to 3:40, then used it in full in from 1:45 to 2:35 + 3:40 to 4:05 The Keys / Chords I used in the intro up to the first drop and in the breakdowns. I used the midi version of the keys for the distinctive lead sound from 0:40 to 1:00 and at various points thereafter.
