Jackknifed 18-wheeler slows traffic on S.H. 97 east of Floresville

An 18-wheeler traveling on S.H. 97 near F.M. 1922 between Stockdale and Floresville has jackknifed on the wet roads and is blocking part of the highway. The accident around 2 p.m. has prompted law-enforcement to divert traffic headed toward Stockdale and Sutherland Springs onto F.M. 1922. Traffic headed toward Floresville is slow-moving. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol troopers are at the scene, along with first responders and personnel with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office.
