Jackson Flip Shakes SEC Recruiting

Four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson, a six-foot-six, 301-pound homegrown talent from Lithonia, Georgia, just flipped his commitment from Florida to Georgia — a massive recruiting win for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs. After an official visit to Gainesville, Jackson switched his pledge to Athens, set to join the 2027 class. Ranked eighth nationally by Rivals and 112th overall by 247Sports, this move bolsters Georgia’s already strong 2027 class — now at 14 commits and ranked 20th nationally. It’s a huge blow to Florida and a reminder of how fiercely SEC recruiting battles can play out — especially when rivals are vying for the same in-state stars.
