Jacob Fatu on WWE Rejecting Him, Fighting From Poverty & Facing Roman Reigns at Backlash

from Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg

Rosenberg sits down with the Samoan Werewolf to talk about WWE initially rejecting him and being told he’d never make it, before fighting through poverty and setbacks to earn a second chance. Now he’s facing Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash and explains why that moment means everything. Jacob Fatu also breaks down why the Tonga Death Grip is a homage to Haku, and how working with Drew McIntyre changed his career.
