JaCorey Thomas Eyes Return | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

JaCorey Thomas, former Georgia Bulldogs defensive back, might be making a surprise return to college football thanks to a new Colorado ruling that lets 2022 class players extend eligibility under the NCAA’s age-based system. After his career seemed over following a targeting penalty in the Sugar Bowl, Thomas now has a shot at one more season — joining basketball stars like Mark Mitchell and AJ Storr who’ve already seized this loophole. With 47 tackles and a sack in his standout 2025 season, Thomas could reignite his legacy — and this ruling may spark a wave of comeback bids across college sports.
