Jada Ali Talks Artist Sending Press Releases/ New Music / Name change and more!

from We Support Wednesday · host ATC We Support Radio

Jada Ali is a female rap artist and songwriter from Flint, Michigan with a vision and a plan. The music bug bit her at the young age of 10 years-old when she began writing songs and recording over cassette tapes. Some of her musical influences were MC Lyte, Foxy Brown, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, Eve, Da Brat, Lauryn Hill, and Left-Eye. Continuously working on her craft, Jada started recording in professional studios at age 15, and by 2010, she released her first body of work. From there, she performed at all of the major shows in Flint and surrounding areas, getting a chance to share stages with prominent rap acts such as Trina, Rasheeda, Gorilla Zoe, J. Cole, Dej Loaf, and Cardi B. From 2016 to 2019, Jada worked under the guidance of Flint native and national recording artist Jon Connor who showed her the ropes of the music business and furthered her artist development. Her experience with Connor prompted her to establish her own company, Round Table Association, where she plans to sign artists with drive and a love for music like herself. At the top of 2020, Jada kicked off the year with the release of her single “Focus” produced by Lost Champions. The title of the song coincides with her hustle mindset as she’s focused in her mission to achieve major success and give back to her hometown of Flint.
