Jada: Trauma and the hallway

Jada called in today with her terrifying story about her freshman year at college when a school shooting shook her to the core. Jada had a work colleague and college friend who she remembers having a conversation with about a stocker. Then one day while Jada was sitting in her classroom an announcement came over the loud speakers stating “this is not a drill” and the sound of gunshots where imprinted in her mind. Her colleague, classmate and friends was left for dead and Jada’s world would never be the same again. Jada talks about dealing with trauma and the time it takes to heal and move forward. She shares how important it is to have someone who you can speak with when you are dealing with trauma and how important faith is to get through the most difficult of times.
