Jagdish Maheshri - Vedic Astrology

Jagdish C. Maheshri, Ph.D. is a chemical engineer who hasbeen pursuing his interest in astrology in general, and Vedic astrology inparticular since 1966. He has analyzed and interpreted thousands of charts andhas been researching astrology as a science for nearly forty five years. Hediscovered a method by which he can accurately time a prediction, the uniqueNinefold Progression technique, which can be applied to both the natal andprogressive horoscope charts of an individual. He has explained the techniqueand its application in detail in his book, “It’s all in Timing”. He believes that the very nature inwhich astrology affects an individual has kept it from being universallyaccepted. Because it is very easy for a normal individual to become overwhelmedwith astrology to the extent that the individual loses control of his or herlife by literally becoming a slave of astrology. But when used as guidance,astrology becomes a blessing. It allows a person to enrich and enhance his lifeby helping uncover his hidden talents and abilities, it further helps himdiscover who he or she is, and even helps provide meaning to life. As a professional astrologer withover forty years of practice, he has convincingly explained the nature of rapidevolutionary human growth, especially in the area of technical fields in lastcouple of centuries through the influence of planetary motions on ourcollective human conscious. According to him, astrology neversolves your problems. It’s you who solve them! But you can benefit fromastrology when you consider it as a means of personal guidance, a source ofsecond opinion, or a way of confirming things that you already have some ideaabout. It certainly can be treated as a science of preventive maintenancethrough the insight it provides us to understand our weaknesses, strengths,capabilities and limitations; and the dynamic nature of our life. Having someguidance about our natural aptitudes, capabilities, and limitations, astrologycertainly provides an opportunity to improve our chances of making best lifechoices and set right life goals. With the help of knowledge of favorable aswell as not-so-favorable periods an individual can use that knowledge to his orher advantage to achieve most in life. Since 2010 Mr. Maheshri has beenserving as NCGR Research Director. He is a practicing contemporary Vedicastrologer. He has published and presented papers at Baltimore and PhiladelphiaNCGR conferences on earthquake models. In 2012 he spoke at the United AstrologyConference. Recently he spoke at the Oriental Heritage conference in New Delhi and won theoutstanding global astrologer award. He is a recipient of Catherine &Ernest 2016 research grant. He teaches (online) Vedic astrology, authoredseveral articles, appeared on radio shows, and hosts this website. His currentresearch interests include natural and man-made calamities, political globalevents, world economical expansion, and spiritual human evolution.
