Jaguars fall short in Bi-District competition

The Floresville High School varsity Jaguars softball team played in a single game for their Bi-District run April 25 in Alamo Heights. The Jaguars eagerly returned to the playoffs after missing their chance in 2025. Floresville started out strong as sophomore Carley Lang (2) and senior Ava Cardenas (7) brought runs in at the top of the first inning. Gonzales tied up the game in the following innings, but the Jaguars’ defense held Gonzales at bay.
