Jaguars Focusing Travis Hunter on Defense | Jacksonville News

The Jaguars are fully committing to Travis Hunter as a defensive standout, shifting focus from offense to help him cement his role on defense—where he’s now listed as a starter, with minimal snaps on offense. With over 26 reps in full 11-on-11 drills and standout moments like forcing incompletions and nearly intercepting passes, Hunter’s defensive growth is accelerating. His reps on defense far outpace his offensive ones—even without joint practices factored in—and this strategic move signals the team’s confidence in his development as a key defensive asset.
