Jaguars Roster Breakdown Week One | Jacksonville News

The Jacksonville Jaguars roll into Week One with a revamped 53-man roster featuring QB Quinn Ewers, rookie standout Emmanuel Pregnon at left guard, and Ameer Abdullah securing the fourth running back spot. Wide receiver duo Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. lead a solid receiving corps, while undrafted rookie Bryan Thomas Jr. steps in for injured DE Zach Durfee Jr. on defense. Surprising cuts include cornerback Jabbar Muhammad and tight end Hunter Long (traded to Arizona), as the team prioritizes experience at key positions. The safety and special teams units are locked down with a proven trio of kicker, punter, and long snapper — setting the stage for a strong season opener.
