Jah Wobble and The Ukrainians Released "Ukrainian National Anthem in Dub" feat. Jon Klein

The legendary Jah Wobble, the original bassist of the postpunk band, Public Image Limited and folk-punk legends,  The Ukrainians released "Ukrainian National Anthem in Dub" feat. Jon Klein, (guitarist, Siouxsie and the Banshees) in support of UK-based war refugee charities.  I spoke with the Ukrainians' lead vocalist, Len Liggins regarding this collaboration. Produced, recorded and mixed by Wobble and Klein, via Dimple Discs,  the idea for the song emerged when Wobble's bass tech suggested he do a collaboration with the Ukrainians, long time purveyors of traditional Ukrainians music, heavily influenced by western post punk.  The Ukrainians current line-up is Len Liggins, (lead vocal/violin)   Peter Solowka (acoustic guitar/backing vocals), Paul Weatherhead (backing vocal/mandolin) and Stephen Tymruk (Accordion).Sales and proceeds from the Ukrainians National Anthem in Dub will be donated to Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal.  To donate please go to the links below https://ffm.to/jahwobbleukrainianshttps://jahwobble.comhttps://www.the-ukrainians.com....T H A N K   Y O U   F O R   Y O U R   S U P P O R T......
