Jai Banks: He Too is MU

Jaison Banks, Arts '18, is a visual artist, award-winning student biology researcher and Army ROTC graduate who is commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Officer to defend against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear warfare and hazards. He is also the co-creator with his friend Ryan Barelli of the "I Too, Am MU" documentary, which amplifies and shares the honest experiences of students of color on Marquette's campus. Banks' artwork can be seen on Instagram at @erosh_mantis and a free screening of the documentary "I Too, Am MU" will take place Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7 pm in the Weasler Auditorium.
