Jai'mier Scott Rising Star | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Jai’mier Scott is exploding onto the Wisconsin defense scene this spring, with coaches raving about his elite footwork and versatility. A second-year corner from Ohio who redshirted as a freshman, he’s been thrust into the spotlight after stepping in for injured teammates and impressing at every turn. Originally drafted as a safety, his athleticism and all-around skills have earned him a potential starting role opposite veteran transfer Javan Robinson — though Oklahoma State transfer Eric Fletcher could challenge that. Expect Scott to see heavy snaps this fall, possibly even starting Week One against Notre Dame, as he aims to cement himself as one of the Big Ten’s top young corners.
